The XJ1T is the latest addition to Xotic’s range, but also the most sought after. It maintains the traditional look of the jazz bass, but with certain unique features that sets it apart from other jazz basses. The XJ1T is also painstakingly crafted with quality woods and exquisite workmanship.
The pickups are housed in a beautifully handcrafted rosewood covers. Paired with the pickups is the famed 18V Tri-Logic preamp from EWS. It has been recently updated to allow two selectable frequencies for the mids and treble. This enhancement substantially widens the tonal possibilities, ranging from the growly Jaco midrange to the scooped slap tone of Marcus Miller.
